"Energy is the currency of the universe. When you 'pay' attention to something, you buy it. So when you allow your consciousness to focus on someone or something that annoys you, you feed it your energy, and it reciprocates the experience of being annoyed. Be selective in your focus because your attention feeds the energy of it and keeps it alive. Not within just you, but in the collective consciousness as well."
I have many passions in life as I believe one's life can be fulfilled only when a person stays hungry for knowledge his whole life. I don't accept the idea of reaching a certain goal and then pausing. So, everyday I do my best to live as fully as I can. Same works with my jobs. If I do something, I will do it to the maximum of my potential. I also don't believe in "one job for the lifetime". Sure, there must be something that one is extremely good at but I also think a person should always grow and try different things. Life is short and you never know what is around the corner. "Go on and explore"-is my moto. In the future, I would like to work in the field which I truly admire. It can be anything as long as it brings me joy. "Stay hungry, stay foolish"( Steve Jobs).

As an IMA student, I think what we do is building bridges between people and computers. I would describe IMA as an intersection between graphic design and computer science, with a particular focus on human-machine and human-human interaction. We build robots, create websites, code games, animate shorts, make films. We generally question everything and don't believe in status quo. As a result, my skills vary from coding to animation, from filming to designing games. But my favorite part of all is filming. In the future, I will take more classes focused on this realm. I also intend to try out VR as I believe films and virtual reality go together pretty well.
Interactive Media Arts, Bachelor's Degree
New York University Shanghai
Interactive Media Arts (IMA) is focused on exploring the expressive possibilities brought about by emerging forms of technology, media, and communication. In concert with the liberal arts core, student interests drive an ever-evolving project-based curriculum, that is designed to facilitate the acquisition of both the conceptual insights and practical skills needed to build the innovative human-centered design projects imagined by our students. IMA students are challenged to create interactive systems that connect people, facilitate participation, convey information, communicate stories, enhance experiences, and otherwise augment, improve, and bring both meaning and delight to people's lives. This may involve the development of software, the manipulation of digital media, the fabrication of material objects, the production of electronic devices, the construction of virtual and physical spaces, or the investigation of as yet unrealized forms.
German and English studies
Linguistic Gymnasium №11
I was lucky enough to attend the most brilliant school in my town. From the age 10, I was exposed to different cultures through various exchange programmes and specially-designed curriculum aimed to enhance students' knowledge of countries oversees. I learnt German, English, Russian, and Italian. Thanks to my school, by the end of the 10th grade, I passed several language exams such as Certificate in Advanced English(Cambridge), Deutsches Sprachdiplom Level I, and later on IELTS(score 7.5). Because of my school, I was able to fall in love with cosmopolotanism, especially with foreign languages. Right now I am learning Chinese and planning to take HSK 4 which signifies upper-intermediate level of Chinese proficiency. All thanks to my school and my teachers.
